Travel safety
How to travel safely is something you need to think about and plan for, whether you are traveling on business or taking a vacation with your family.
One of the key considerations to travel safety is blending in. It’s not that difficult but you need to be observant – and be prepared for how to best adapt into new environments. This applies to everyone including those who often have to go to new environments as part of their jobs such as health providers and social workers.
Drawing unwanted attention can lead to setting you up as a target for the bad guys.
Considerations you should learn about to maximize your safety and your ability to respond should a situation arise, include the types of clothing you wear, your footwear, how you carry backpacks and luggage, items you can carry to help defend yourself, and perhaps most importantly, your body language.
Our coaches can help you learn how to prepare for short visits to strange locations, extended vacations, and even for adapting a safe travel attitude in your hometown.
