Basic Rifle and Shotgun Skills

This is an entry level course for new rifle shooters – for those who have not had any formal instruction. Topics covered in this training include basic safety considerations, understanding how a rifle works, the importance of a proper stance, proper grip, using iron sights and optics, loading and unloading, and trigger control.

Basic Pistol Skills

This class is an entry level course for handgun shooters and is designed specifically for those who have not had any formal instruction. We cover a wide range of topics such as: basic safety considerations, proper stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. We also cover loading and unloading and basic maintenance and cleaning.   We discuss what type of pistol or revolver is best for different circumstances and advise the attendees on the types of firearms that seem to be most suited to their style and anticipated use.
